Beatrix Sherman, or the "Girl Who Cuts Up," was a popular silhouette cutter throughout the 20th century. She was known for her many portraits of celebrities and presidents, and was a frequent presence at World's Fairs and other expositions. She often copyrighted her depictions of more famous figures. |
